Q..What nationalities are permitted to purchase a property in Turkey..?
A..Some of the Countries Turkey has a reciprocal agreement for the purchase of land and
England,İreland,Germany,Holland,Norway,Sweden,Denmark,Austria,Switzerland,Belguim
Spain,İtaly,Canada,Luxembourg,Australia,France,Greece,Portugal,Poland,Croatia,Estonia
Hungary, and some African and South American states,

Q..How long does it all take and how does it work..?
A..İt takes between two to three months to receive the final Tapu..Title deeds..after signing the reservation contract,the copies of the buyers passport will be handed over to the land registry office,the copies and the official papers showing the location of the property will be sent to a millitary head office in İzmir to be checked that the property is not in a millitary zone after the approval of the permission our company pays the necessary fees and taxes to the nominated bank and to the tax office in Aydin.The official receipts of these fees will be declared during the transaction in the land registry office.Finally the buyer signs the land registry book under the supervision of the official interpreter.

Q..Do i have to be a resident or have a residents visa to purchase..?
A..No..to buy a property you do not have to have a residents visa.This is only required if you İntend to stay longer then 3 months,or you wish to buy a car or phone,then the 3 months tourist visaİs not enough.

Q..What do i have to check before purchasing..?
A..Check that there are no outstanding rental agreements or morgages, and the seller has the legal right to sell the property and that they have a tapu..Title deed..if there is an agent how much commissionİs payable.

Q..Do i have to pay taxes and fees for the purchasing..?
A..Yes.there are some taxes payable,however some are a once only tax ie..3 percent of the declared value of the property..Education and rarthquake tax..approx.40 pounds,all formal documentation and copies approx..200 pounds,interpreter fees..approx 75 pounds. Water and electric conections and meters 400 pounds and search fees..approx 100 pounds.

Q..İf i sell my property can i take the proceeds back to UK.
A.. Yes. You have the legal right to take the proceeds back to U.K.

Q..What deposit do i require to secure my purchase..?
A..İt depends on the seller, but the normal is 10 percent..The seller is in his right to ask.25 percent or even 50 percent but must state this at the time of selling.

Q..Who inherits our property if one of us Dies..?
A.. According to Turkish law, the property automatically goes to the next of kin,and if a will is in force..to ever nominated in will.

Q..Why should we invest in Turkey...?

A.. The climate is wonderful,the pace is easy,the people are warm and invitingly friendly,the air is clean and healthy as that of the swiss alps it has been said,and people who retire here tell of there aches and pains dissapearing,and its true fact that the British residents who live here are in far better health then they ever where in Britain,due to the fatastic climate.

Q..How far will our money go...?
A..Living here is far far cheaper then in Britain,everyday essensials like bread, fruit, vegetables,and meat products are half the prices of England and sold in kilos,but best of all natural produce is organic,again this reverts back to health ,weight loss,better diet and this all adds up to a longer and healthier life.

Q.. What about our bills etc..?
A..Domestic bills are also far cheaper..monthly electric bills will work out at about 10 pounds and water bills around seven pounds..Gas is bottled and for 13 pounds it will last you 6 months..your council tax is 40 pounds per year and refuse tax around 20 pounds per year, no TV licence required, and no VAT...Just think how far your pension or savings will go when you are living here..

Q..What about health and if we are sick...?
A.. Health care when living in Turkey is not a problem.The hospitals here have some of the finest surgeons and doctors in the world..i kid you not.you can choose to go private or take out an insurance to cover every aspect Of illness,and at very affordable prices with 3 available packages and one to suite your budget, the health care is excellent.
